Enhancing Care Programs
The Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton is offering two Enhancing Care Programs in partnership with Sinai Health System Reitman Centre. CARERS runs for eight weekly sessions with small groups of up to six care partners, TEACH runs for four weekly sessions focusing on caregiving education, and interested participants are invited to register via the provided online form.

Walking Club walk cancellation
The Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton has cancelled the Walking Club walk scheduled for Tuesday, July 14 at Mike Weir Park because of a heat warning. Organizers thank participants for their understanding and say they look forward to seeing everyone at the next scheduled walk.

Big Chill Raffle & community fundraising events
The Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton is at Sarnia-Lambton PrideFest selling Big Chill Raffle tickets, priced at $20 each or 6 for $100, while sharing information about dementia programs. They are also promoting Rocktoberfest, a fundraising music weekend happening in October that supports the society.
