Munro Honey & Meadery is a fifth-generation Ontario honey farm and the province’s first commercial meadery (est. 1914) in Alvinston, ON, operating about 3,000 Buckfast colonies to produce 100% pure Ontario honey, nucs and queens, beeswax and pollen products, and award-winning meads and session melomels; they run educational Observation Hive visits, community-focused Buckfast breeding programs emphasizing disease resistance, gentleness and high honey yield, and sell retail honey, hive products and meads from their Honey House at 3115 River St, Alvinston.
