Janet - popcorn ipa

By Refined Fool Brewing Co.

Our very first tiny batch beer is janet, a popcorn ipa brewed in collaboration with our favourite mall popcorn stand, kernels. we dumped 16 kilos of popcorn into this batch and you can taste it! it's got all the citrusy and hoppy characteristics of a classic ipa (we used sasquatch and sabro hops) with an added layer of sweet kernel essence that keeps you snackin'.
it's our way of bringing back that classic pre-pandemic feeling of duct taping a bunch of ipa's under your jeans and sneaking them into the theatre to wash back your oversized bucket of popcorn.
note: we don't condone this behaviour and highly recommend paying $13.50 for a watered down mug root beer from the concession stand instead.

Antique peepshow - ipa
Have you ever peered into the window of an antique store and noticed an item that you had to possess? well this beer is just that. this ipa is high on hop bitterness, with a surprising delicate caramel backbone. slightly sweeter than its contemporaries, it’s an ipa that marches to the beat of its own drum. so stop peeping and drink it, because you’re creeping everybody out. 6.1% alc./vol.650 ml
This is a german style beer from, you guessed it, berlin. it's sour/tart, light, and really drinkable at only 3%. great for summer! one thing that german's do is mix in flavoured syrups to create a nice balance between sweetness and tartness. apparently, if you try to order it without syrup in germany people think you're weird. raspberry and woodruff are the two syrups that are typically used, but we have a couple others to try out as well.
