Since 1986 Rayjon has sought to eliminate inequalities, build relationships, and foster collaboration towards a more just world. After their “poverty awareness trip” to Haiti, travelers from Ontario decided to share their stories to encourage others to go and experience the rich culture and vitality they saw in Haiti. From awareness came a call to action to empower, build relationships, and partner in community development. For over 30 years, Rayjon has been focusing on community development projects in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Through quality programs in education, health care, literacy, training, and microcredit, we partner with communities to achieve their goals, develop their knowledge and potential, and to participate fully in the wider society. Rayjon provides a bridge between those who can help and those who need and want help in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and other developing countries.
