Love Your Local Sweepstakes Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Agreement
Please read these official rules (the “Official Rules”) carefully. They contain important information about your rights and obligations, as well as limitations and exclusions that may apply to you if you enter the Love Your Local Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) sponsored by Hashtag Local Inc. (the “Sponsor”).
By participating in the Sweepstakes, you signify your agreement to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. If you do not agree to the Official Rules, you may not enter the Sweepstakes.
2. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on February 15, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on March 31, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
3. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Ontario who are nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of entry (“Participant”, “entrant” or “you”).
Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, its parent companies and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment, and execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Parties”), and the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of, and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, municipal, and local laws and regulations. If it is found that a person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these Official Rules has submitted an entry, that entry will be deemed ineligible. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility requirements. Void outside the Province of Ontario and wherever else prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

(the “Sweepstakes Website”) during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the on-screen instructions.
Participants may earn entries (“Entries”) through the following methods:
1. Sign-Up Entry
Complete the contest sign-up form on the Sweepstakes Website to receive one (1) entry.
2. Referral Entry
After signing up, participants will receive a unique personal referral link. For each eligible friend who signs up using the participant’s personal referral link, the participant will receive one (1) additional entry. There is no limit to the number of referral entries that may be earned.
3. Supporting Business Entry
Participants may earn one (1) entry per participating supporting business by visiting a supporting business (in person or online) and using that business’s unique contest URL. Limit of one (1) entry per supporting business per participant.
There is no limit to the total number of Entries a participant may earn during the Sweepstakes Period, provided all entries are earned in accordance with these Official Rules.
Entries which are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or otherwise non-compliant with these Official Rules are null and void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, invalid, or unintelligible entries, or for any technical malfunctions, human error, or failures of any kind that may affect entry submission or processing.
5. Prize / Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) / Odds
Grand Prize
One (1) Grand Prize is available to be won, consisting of $1,000.00 CAD in local gift cards, selected by the Sponsor from participating or supporting local businesses.
The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $1,000.00 CAD.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, or any portion thereof, with a prize of equal or greater value. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of the prize will not be awarded.
By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to release the Sweepstakes Parties from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of any prize awarded.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random draw from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The draw will take place within three (3) weeks following the close of the Sweepstakes Period, on or about April 2026, at the Sponsor’s offices or at such other location as determined by the Sponsor.
The selected potential winner will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact information provided at the time of entry. Sponsor will make a minimum of two (2) attempts to contact the potential winner within forty-eight (48) hours of the draw.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, declines the prize, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate eligible entrant may be selected at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Before being confirmed as the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question, without assistance, and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seventy-two (72) hours of notification.
Prizes will be awarded within approximately thirty (30) days following winner confirmation.
7. Limitation of Liability
By participating in the Sweepstakes and as a condition of acceptance of a prize, each entrant releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless the Sponsor and all Sweepstakes Parties from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
8. General
Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if it cannot be conducted as planned due to fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
9. Disputes
Except where prohibited, all disputes shall be resolved individually and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the Province of Ontario. These Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the administration of the Sweepstakes, including winner selection and prize fulfillment. Personal information is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://hashtaglocal.com.
11. Winners List Requests
To request the name of the winner, send an email to info@hashtaglocal.com with the subject line: Love Your Local Sweepstakes Winners List Request. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days of the draw date.
